Writing for the glory of God

Hello and welcome to my heart – the home of the risen Christ - and my site. All my life I have written to express myself and my feelings. I have shared things though pen and paper that I would never have been able to express vocally. Moreover, these written expressions have been, for the most part, between me and God alone – until recently. Since having my children and moving back near my hometown and church, I have begun to share what God has put on my heart with others as He has led. Today, I feel led of the Spirit to share them with you and all who are open to hear them. It is no accident that you have come to this site. It is not a coincidence. There are no accidents with God. And I believe with all that is within me that this project is all from Him. God came down from Heaven over 2000 years ago clothed in flesh. He took on the form of man and was known far and wide as Jesus of Nazareth. This Jesus, fully God yet fully man, was hung on a tree and crucified taking on my sins and yours. But that was not the end. Three days later, He rose again defeating death, hell, and the grave. He ascended once more to Heaven and sits now at the right hand of God the Father. This project is all God, about Jesus, because each day I declare with one of the greatest preachers to ever walk the face of the earth thatI have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20 NIV) Granted it’s easier to declare than it is to live but I strive each day to live by those words. That is why today, I share with you what God, through the Spirit of His Son, Jesus the Christ, has shared with me. It is from His heart to mine. I pray that now, it is also to yours.

Father God in Heaven, I give you glory, honor, and praise as I sit and prepare to share with others what you have given to me. It will not be easy Lord, but I know it will be so worth it. Father, again today I ask that you search me and cleanse me. Let nothing in me hinder the movement of your Spirit in this work. Dutchess is crucified. Let Jesus rise and speak through me and my keyboard. Guide every keystroke, every word, and every phrase. May those whom you choose to share these words and thoughts with hear only your voice – the sweet voice of one who loves them. May they receive these words and accept them as an invitation to the sweetest, most satisfying, most intimate relationship they have ever had or will ever know. It is not about us, Father God. It’s all about Jesus. May He be revealed and forever glorified today and always. In Jesus Name I pray – amen.

I invite you now to sit back and get comfortable. Hear the words God has laid on my heart to share with you.
